Baby Toolbox Cognition Measures

This course provides an in-depth overview of the Cognition measures available within the NIH Baby Toolbox iPad App. Designed for users familiar with administering standardized assessments to infants and young children, this course walks you through each individual measure, reviewing key administration tips to ensure consistency and accuracy.

In this course you will:

• Receive step-by-step guidance on standardized administration and scoring for all Cognition assessments including those that assess executive function, memory, language, and math.
• Review strategies for becoming a confident and competent examiner.

Review the video modules below in order. For the best experience, we recommend having your iPad with the Baby Toolbox App already installed so you can follow along. Whenever possible, watch the videos with a training partner—this allows you to pause and practice role-playing together after each module for hands-on learning.
